Grief is often lonely and painful. We offer people an opportunity to reflect, share, and move through the many stages of grief.

Grief can be painful, confusing, and exhausting. Some people try to face it and move through it quickly. Others try to ignore the pain, staying isolated and busy. There is no single correct or simple path.

People who feel they cannot rely on relatives or friends during grief can find understanding and compassion at the Cafés da Saudade, without judgement and without being told how they should handle their pain.
